Background

Dev Goswami's business goals are to educate the community in general and his clients in particular about the benefits of financial strategies and to assist them in making a smooth and comfortable transition through their major financial and life events such as children’s college education, retirement, poor health, disability and death. His innermost desire is to make a positive difference in his client’s life by contributing to increased financial security and peace of mind by:

• Treating each client as he/she would like to be treated.
• Giving well-researched, thoughtful professional guidance.
• Maintaining a long-term investment perspective.
• Selecting and monitoring appropriate investments to meet each client’s needs.
• Helping each client to maintain personal financial independence for their lifetime.

Dev was born in India in a highly respected family and immigrated to the US in 1996 to join his brothers in retail business. He has been an entrepreneur throughout his life. After graduating from engineering college in 1976, he had established his own manufacturing business in India and had grown it successfully, until he decided to venture to the United States to gain new experiences in life.

Today, the values Dev learned growing up distinguish everything he does. He believes in giving back to the community and has served many organizatioons in various capacities. He is one of the founding members of the IndoUS Chamber of Commerce of NE Florida and has served the IndoUS organization as the President and Board Chairman in the past. He has served the Jacksonville Mayor’s Asian American Advisory Board (MAAAB) as a Board Member. He has served the First Coast Asian American Chamber of Commerce (FCAACC) as a Board Member and also the Hindu Society of NE Florida(HSNEF) as a Treasurer in the past. Currently, he is serving the Indo-American Medical Association of NE Florida(IAMA) as Honarary Executive Officer since 2009.

Dev prides himself on the level of relationships he builds and the research behind the financial strategies he suggests. He is an involved member of the community whom you can count on for all your planning, investment and insurance needs. His hobby is people – getting to know them, getting to help them and working to bring positive change in their lives. That is the finest part of his work that he enjoys and treasures very much.
